Kathleen A. Mcdavitt

Kathleen (O’Brien) McDavitt, 61 of Narragansett, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was the wife of Dennis A. McDavitt for 40 years. She was born in Cranston, RI and resided in Walpole, MA prior to making a home in Narragansett, RI with her family 30 years ago. She was the daughter of Ann (Benoint) O’Brien and the late John O’Brien. Kathy was the loving mother of Megan McDavitt, Maura Goldschmidt and her husband Todd, and Michaela McDavitt; sister of Virginia O’Brien, Patricia Richey, John O’Brien, Elizabeth Fair, Susan Curt and the late Carol Pacitto. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Kathy was the office manager at Ann O’Brien Realty for 30 years. She has touched the lives of many both in her personal life and professional life and will be missed by many. Kathy’s favorite part of life was spending time with her family. A Mass will be offered in her honor on Tuesday September 8th, 2015 at 11am at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
