Kathleen Erin Hogan

Kathleen E. Hogan, 67, of Ashaway, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Westerly Hospital. She was the wife of Eugene C. Eccleston, Jr. Born in Westerly, the daughter of the late Dr. John P. Hogan and Mary E. (Hall) Hogan. Kathleen was a salesperson for Paragon Industries for many years before retiring. She was a U.S. Navy Veteran; enjoyed reunions with her shipmates; was an avid online computer gamer and enjoyed buying and selling old post cards. Besides her husband she is survived by her brother, John P. Hogan and his wife Jane of Holliston, MA; a sister, Rosemary Stapler and her husband Konrad of The Woodlands, TX; several nieces and nephews and many cousins. She was the sister of the late Michael T. and Jeffrey J. Hogan. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at 9 am from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 am in St. Mary Star of The Sea Church, Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett. Burial will follow with military honors in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Southern R.I., P.O.
