Kathleen Field

Kathleen Field, 69, of North Kingstown, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Alton R. (Dick) Field, Jr. for 48 years. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Dunbar) McMahon. Kathy was a 1971 graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at Kent County Memorial Hospital for over 40 years before retiring. She loved reading, tulips, vacations in Maine, and sunny days with no humidity. Her love for family, friends, and her dog Maisie was unsurpassed. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son Jeffrey Field and his girlfriend Kate, daughter Amy Kennett and her husband Matthew, her cherished grandchildren Erynn, Nathan, Colin and Liam.. She also leaves behind three sisters and a brother; Carol, Marie, Peggy and Walter. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to: American Lung Association, 55 W.
