Katherine T. Coleman

Katherine T. Coleman, 63, of Cranston RI and more recently West Boylston MA, passed away Saturday, November 18th. Born in Worcester MA to her loving parents the late Dr. Joseph and Marjorie (Tanner) Coleman.

Kathy was a graduate of Cranston High School West and Central Connecticut State University. She had a career in varying retail and manufacturing businesses, and finished working with the State of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Parks service which she enjoyed greatly. Kathy was an avid science fiction reader, and television buff who was always a valued team member in trivia games. She enjoyed spending time with her family, many cousins and her nieces and nephew. She was a gentle soul with a wonderful sense of humor and a dry wit and smile that will be remembered by all.

Kathy is survived by her siblings; Thomas F. Coleman of Niantic, CT, and Michael P. (Kerry) Coleman of North Kingstown, RI. She is pre-deceased by her late brother Daniel J. Coleman of Coventry, RI and sister Marianne F. Coleman of South Kingstown, RI.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephew; Shalyn (Derek) Fava of Warwick, RI, Cassidy (Bradley) Stewart of Tacoma, WA, Kellen Coleman of Hoboken, NJ and Shannon Coleman of North Kingstown, RI.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9th from 10-11 am with a service immediately following at 11 am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
