Karen L. Eldridge, 67, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the loving wife of John "Jack" Eldridge Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Jane (McCloskey) Lenihan and the late George F. Lenihan, Sr.
Karen was a devoted and hardworking employee at Waves and the Adeline LaPlante Center for many years. She spent most of her life as a resident of Narragansett, she took great pride in running Katz Meow and MooMoos Ice Cream, a beloved local spot that brought joy to countless families and friends over the years.
In addition to her husband, Jack, she is survived by her children: Ryan Mulligan; Nicholas Mulligan and his partner, Cara Cote; Michele Eldridge; John Eldridge III and his partner, Jessica; and Kristen Dimon and her husband, James. She was a cherished grandmother to Joseph, Delilah, Lilian, and Jordynne.
Karen is also survived by her brothers, George Lenihan, Jr. and his wife, Cheryl; Sean Lenihan and his wife, Jennifer, and their son, Patrick; and Timothy Lenihan and his children, Briana and her partner, Matt, and son, Timothy. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends, as well as her beloved dog, Rafferty "Raffy."
A Mass of Christian Burial be celebrated on Saturday, February 14th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will take place at St. Francis Cemetery in Peace Dale.
A celebration of Karen's life will be held immediately following the burial at Pancho O'Malley's.
