Justin D. Briggs

Justin D. Briggs, 43, died unexpectedly Friday, July 13, 2012 at home. He was the former husband of Charlene Briggs. Born in Maryland, he was the son of John W. and Suzanne (Vachon) Briggs; father of Logan Emory Briggs and Colby John Briggs; brother of Jennifer Briggs and Nicholas Hanson and grandson of Rita Vachon. Justin was a Physical Education teacher at South Kingstown High School and a former program director at the YMCA. He was a graduate of Chariho High School and the University of Rhode Island. Justin was an active member of New Hope Chapel. He enjoyed hiking and skiing in the northern New England Mountains, riding his motorcycle and singing. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM in New Hope Chapel, 80 Richmond Townhouse Rd., Carolina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Chapel.
