June V. Jarret

June V. Jarret, of Narragansett, passed away on December 29, 2024. She was married to Anthony L. Jarret for 41 years and was the proud Mother of Richard Lupino, Jr. (spouse Cara), Gina Lupino (Partner, Toriana Gurley), and Michael Lupino.

She also was Grandma to her beloved Grandchildren Nicholas and Siena. June was predeceased by her parents and her siblings George, Eddie, Johnny and Betty.

June graduated from the former Rhode Island School of Electronics and became the Lab Manager at the school. Later she handled the recording at the various town halls of real estate closing documents from transactions handled by Jarret Law Office.

June was happiest tending her gardens and being by the ocean , especially spending weekends in Newport or Block Island on the Miss Gina or fluke fishing on the Nicky J II. She also learned to sail and loved being on Salt Pond on her Pt. Jude 15.

June’s family would especially like to thank everyone at Wellspring Memory Care at Brightview Commons for their selfless and loving care of June as her Alzheimer’s progressed.

Visitation for June will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 1 to 3 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hope Health would be appreciated.
