June H. Arnold

June H. Arnold, a Jamestown resident, formerly from Narragansett, RI, born in Delaware County, PA passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 22, 2015. She was the widow of Adelbert K. Arnold Jr. and the mother of the late Sandra J. Faulk. She is survived by three sons and three daughters, twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; Joseph Arnold & wife Lisa of Westerly and their children Savanah & Morgan Haney. Carol LeClair & husband Mike of North Kingstown and their children Heather, Donald, and Tabitha, Del K. Arnold III and wife Gina of Westerly and their son Shawn. Leah Corbett (Arnold) of Florida and her son Michael, Aaron Arnold of Florida and his two sons also of Florida Stephen and Alex. Naomi Richardson (Arnold) and husband Leroy and their children Alexis, Leroy, Jr., and Hailey of RI. She was employed by A&P in Wakefield for 19 years, Bess Eaton Donuts for many years, Narragansett Ocean Skate for many years, and Xtra Mart in Jamestown, RI. June loved to work hard and loved to help people. She was adored by many people. She had many children who called her “Ma” “Gramma” that she considered her own even though they were not her biological children. Her door was always open for everyone who was in any need. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and recent years in the winter months she could be found in sunny Florida. She also loved to play bingo, scratching off tickets and loved county music and line dancing. She will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers send donations to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island 143 Main St., Wakefield, RI 02879. Visiting hours will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
