Julia Theresa Hudak (Galli), 93, of Binghamton, NY made her final journey with the Lord on Thursday, August 27, 2026. God gently and mercifully lifted her into his almighty and loving arms. She is pre-deceased by her devoted husband Thomas J. Hudak, Sr., parents Louis and Julia Galli, sister Mary Lou Scott, and grandson Anthony V. DenDanto. She is survived by her brother Louis Galli, Jr. (Sharon), daughter Linda A. DenDanto (Mark VanMarter), sons Thomas J. Hudak, Jr. (Michele) and Lawrence J. Hudak (DeLayce), daughter Lou Ann Diomandes (Dean), 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Tireless energy; she entertained her entire family with her cooking, baking, card, board and yard games she had learned and honed as a young child. Julie had been married to Tom for 65 precious years and spent many trips; camping, traveling, their cottage on the St. Lawrence River, and visiting their children and grandchildren throughout the east coast continuously. In their later years, Lou Ann and Dean graciously and selflessly welcomed them both into their home in a quaint peaceful township in New England where they lived happily and peacefully, with dignity and grace, while receiving the very best health and comfort care to the end.

Julie was a proud, yet always modest 600 Club bowler, and traveled with the girls (and Tom, at times) to bowling competitions throughout the US, as far as Hawaii. She was inducted into the Triple Cities Women Bowling Association Hall of Fame at age 66.

She served through the Lord. Adored children. A short list of her many life's devotions include Binghamton Fire Department Auxiliary, Communicant at Saint Cyril's Catholic Church, Eucharistic Minister, Altar Rosary Society, Bereavement Committee, Fall Bazaar Organizer, Church Kitchen Volunteer (tens of thousands of Halupki), to name a few. She enjoyed her needlepoint and embroidery, sewn in the company of her dear friends, for all her family and friends to enjoy and cherish. Her dedication to the entire family went in all directions; each one of her children hold her closely as a supreme example of motherhood. The family will receive friends at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, 96 Glenwood Ave in Binghamton, NY 13905 on Tuesday, September 8th between the hours of 5 and 8 PM. All are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at SS Cyril and Methodius Church, 148 Clinton Street 13905 on September 9th, directly followed by the procession and internment at Calvary Cemetery, 553 Harry L Drive in Johnson City 13790.
