Joyce Mary Macinnes
May 13, 1938 — May 22, 2023
Joyce M. MacInnes, 85, of Charlestown, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Westerly Hospital. Born in South Kingstown, a daughter of the late Charles and Blanche (Owen) MacInnes.
Joyce was a Library Technician for the University of Rhode Island for many years before retiring in 2000. She was also a member of the Rhode Island Dahlia Society.
She is survived by her son, David O. Fitzgerald of Westerly; her sister, Charlotte Diana and husband James of Marshfield, MA; grandson, Christopher Fitzgerald and great-grandson, Aiden Fitzgerald.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 1, 2023, 10-11 am, in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, followed by a funeral service at 11 am. Burial will follow in White Brook Cemetery.
