Joyce M. Gould

Joyce M. Gould, 79, of Wakefield passed away after a brief illness on November 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late John and Marjorie Osborne. She was the beloved wife of John R. Gould for 58 years.

Joyce was a homemaker and spent much of her time quilting. She made and donated dozens of quilts to the Linus project. Joyce also enjoyed knitting, sewing and jigsaw puzzles.

In addition to her husband John, she leaves her son John Gould (Anna), her daughter Jennifer Lindewall (Erick), four grandchildren, Courtney and Jon Gould, Victoria and Carl Lindewall as well as one great grandson, Erick. She adored all of her grandkids and will be missed greatly. She is also survived by her sister, Joan Wertheimer (Eric) and her sister Tina Streeter (Paul). She is predeceased by her sister, June Grant.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield with visiting hours to follow from 4-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope Hospice.
