Joyce Peck Bridgman

Joyce Peck Bridgman (Peck), 85, of Wakefield, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. She was the wife of Clark Bridgman for 62 years. Born in Watertown, CT, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Thelma (Griffen) Peck. Joyce was a volunteer at the South County Hospital, an active member of the Kingston Congregational Church serving on several committees, enjoyed playing bridge and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her husband she is survived, loved and will be missed by her children, Timothy Bridgman and his wife Carol of Maryville, TN, Sioux Stanton and her partner Adam Toaspern of Howes Cave, NY and Libby Lamarre and her husband Mike of Saunderstown; three sisters, Polly Thompson of Colorado Springs, CO, Myra Peterson of Brookfield, CT and Joanne Potter of Torrington, CT; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Jean Smith, Ruth McMahon, Grace Dunn, Stanley, Frederick and Kenneth Peck. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
