Joshua Lewis Stanton

Joshua Lewis Stanton, 28, of Wakefield, RI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 7, 2013. Josh was born on August 31, 1984 in Wakefield, RI. He was the son of Glenn and Lynn (Lillibridge) Stanton of Wakefield; loving brother of Luke Stanton of Wakefield and Zachary Stanton of Pembroke Pines, FL; step brother of Dr. Jennifer Stanton of Waterloo, NY and Nathaniel Stanton of Willington, CT. Josh worked as a carpenter for Eric J. Taylor Construction and later owned and operated his own construction business in Wakefield. He enjoyed fishing, shooting sporting clays, automobiles and spending time with his many friends. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. A celebration of Josh’s life will follow from 4-6 p.m. at the South Kingstown Elks Club, Belmont Ave, Wakefield.
