Joshua Angkea Martin

Joshua Angkea Martin, 18, of Narragansett, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 21, 2020. He was born in Kompong Thom, Cambodia. He came to his forever home in December of 2003 and attended the Narragansett public schools. He graduated Narragansett High School this spring and was planning on attending the New England Institute of Technology in the fall. Joshua was the beloved son of Denis Martin and Anne Haviland-Martin, beloved grandson of Roger M. Martin of Woonsocket, and enjoyed the love and support of a large extended family with many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 28 at 11:00 am in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Rd, Narragansett. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, September 27, from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends Without a Border for the Lake Clinic in Cambodia (fwab.org).
