Josephine Patricia Reilly

Josephine P. (Heffernan) Reilly, formerly of Greenwood Drive, Peace Dale, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013. She was the wife of the late William C. Reilly. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Mary (Horahan) Heffernan. Mrs. Reilly was a nursing home owner and administrator of the former Meadowbrook Nursing Home. She was a graduate of Bryant College, a member of the Alumni Association and a longtime member of the Rhode Island Nursing Home Association. She was the mother of William and Thomas Reilly, Grace Pagel, Judy Taji, Candie Prescott and the late Josephine Reilly; sister of the late William and Mary Heffernan and Anna Vaudruil and grandmother of the late Holly Balmforth. She also leaves thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
