Josephine M. Brady

Josephine M. "Prim" Brady, 87, of Usquepaugh, passed away on June 13th at South County Hospital after a brief illness. Raised in Flushing Queens, NY, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Sabina (Emiliano) DeScisciolo. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. "Jack" Brady. She is survived by her five children; Mark A. Brady and his wife Nancy of Franklin, MA, Michele Brady-Lamb and her husband Thomas of Exeter, RI, Suzanne Turner and her husband Timothy of Griswold, CT, Christine Brady of Greenwich, CT and Justin T. Brady and his wife Amber of The Hague, The Netherlands/Mogadishu, Somalia, 13 grandchildren and her chubby dog, Bella. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter Pamela Marsh of Mt. Holly, NC. She was a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology of New York and the University of Rhode Island. A rabid liberal, she was a lifelong artist, reader, gardener and a recent convert to Tai Chi. A private memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to South County Health to support the thoughtful, professional staff that cared for her in her final hours.
