Joseph Vincent Romano

Joseph V. Romano, 73, of West Kingston, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. He was the husband of Bonnie L. (Hull) Romano for 48 years. Born in Providence, the son of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Bianchini) Romano. Joe worked in the automotive industry throughout his lifetime, including operating his own service stations, teaching at New England Institute of Technology and being the Northeast Regional Training Manager for Midas Corporation. He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran where he was exposed to Agent Orange and developed coronary artery disease from which he died. His family meant everything to him; followed only by his love for fishing and boating. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Todd J. Romano and his wife Karyn of Warwick and Scott J. Romano and his wife Lauren of Ashland, MA; his daughter, Jodi L. Romano of West Kingston; grandchildren, Kaya, Sophia, Alivia and Noah and his brother, Gary Romano. He was the brother of the late Joyce Meo. His funeral service will be private. He will be buried in the R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
