Joseph A. Radkiewich

July 26, 1937 — December 30, 2012

Joseph A. Radkiewich, 75, of Wayland Trail, Narragansett, passed away Sunday at South County Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia A. (O’Riley) Radkiewich, they had been married for 48 years. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Eva M. (Juskevicus) Radkiewich. Mr. Radkiewich was a clerk at the Narragansett Public Library. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, enjoyed spending time watching his grandson play little league baseball and searching the beaches and woods with his metal detector. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Judy Noka and her husband Parrish of West Warwick and Karen Radkiewich-Sudduth and her husband Anthony of Narragansett; a son, Joseph E. Radkiewich of Narragansett; three grandchildren, Shayna Sebastian, Raven Radkiewich and London Sudduth; a sister, Gloria Mitchell of Harrisville and three great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Virginia Ryan-Pucher. His funeral will be Thursday at 9:30 am from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett. Burial with military honors will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-7 pm.
