Joseph Luciano, Iii

Joseph Luciano III, 75, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born in Wakefield, on March 30, 1946, to the late Joseph and Jenny (Signorelli). Joseph will be remembered as an accomplished man, and loving father. Having spent most of his life in South Kingstown, he enjoyed being with his many lifelong friends, playing cards, bowling, or going to the casino. He was also a Vietnam veteran as well as a retiree from URI where he worked for many years. Besides his loving partner Carole Fournier, he is survived by his former wife, Carol Luciano, his son Todd, and daughter-in-law Michelle and their two children, Jordan and Jackson. His beloved daughter Tina, died in 1992. He also leaves behind two sisters, Libby Hogberg and brother-in-law “Dan” and Linda Davis and brother-in-law Brad and their families. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 5 -7 pm in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield.
