Joseph Francis Laurie, Jr.

Joseph Francis Laurie, Jr., 69, of North Kingstown, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Joseph F. Laurie, Sr. and Alice Viola (Parker) Laurie. Joe was a kind, funny, and sweet gentleman. He loved animals and children; he would always light up when they entered the room. He also loved watching tv especially westerns. When he was younger, he enjoyed horseback riding and playing football and baseball with his sisters. He is survived by his sisters, Brenda Ludvigsen, Valerie Hayes, and Tina Stanciu. He was predeceased by his sisters, Pamela Andrews and Bonnie Gardner. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 9-10am with a funeral service to follow at 10am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. Burial will follow in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
