Joseph H. Eddy, Jr.

Joseph H. Eddy, Jr., 82, of Wakefield, died unexpectedly Thursday. He was the beloved husband of Waltraud (Frank) Eddy for 58 years. Born in Wakefield, he was a son of the late Joseph H., Sr., and Maude (Moulton) Eddy. Mr. Eddy had a great love for the ocean and spent his life working as a lobsterman and fisherman. He served honorably in the United Sates Army during the Korean Conflict. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Michael D. Eddy of New Hampshire and John A. Eddy of Florida; and five grandchildren, Sophia, Sarah, Launa, Alex, and Jason. Funeral services are private and burial will take place in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
