Joseph S. Allen

Joseph S. Allen, 63, of Narragansett, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 30, 2018. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of Jane (Segar) Allen of South Kingstown and the late Richard Allen. Joe was a graduate of South Kingstown High School. He was a commercial fisherman on the Linda Marie out of Pt. Judith. He always enjoyed the outdoors whether it was fishing, hunting, or traveling to Maine. Besides his mother he is survived by his son Jason Tarbox of Warwick; a daughter Jolene Stanzione of Myrtle beach SC; siblings, Stephen Allen and his wife Sharlene of Charlestown and Beth Goodness and her husband Bruce of South Kingstown. Joe is also survived by his lifelong friend and hunting buddy Hap. A celebration of life will be held at a date yet to be determined. Services will be private.
