John Frederick Nasse, Sr.

John F. Nasse, Sr., 74, of Charlestown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 15, 2021. He was the husband of Jeanne C. (Stanton) Nasse for 53 years. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Frederick C. and Edna (Ribstein) Nasse. John retired from the U.S. Air Force after 23 years of service to his country for which he was very proud. John had many interests beyond the Air Force like fishing, camping, sports and woodworking, but his main passion was his family. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, John F. Nasse, Jr. and his partner Christine Gaudlap of Bradford, Brian K. Nasse of Tampa, FL and Kerrie L. Harrigan and her husband David of Trumbull, CT; two grandchildren, Xavier and Milo Harrigan and two sisters, Kathleen Nichols of N. Stonington, CT and Susan Nasse of Altus, OK. He was the brother of the late William Nasse. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 9-11 am in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, followed by a funeral service at 11 am. Burial with military honors will follow at R. I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
