John Dale Mccullough

John Dale McCullough, 78, of Narragansett, died Thursday. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Andreozzi) McCullough, and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Born in Narragansett, he was a son of the late John and Ethel (Moody) McCullough. He is survived by two children, Michael J. McCullough and his wife Jean and Alicia (McCullough) Northup, three grandchildren, Michael and Olivia McCullough, and Hunter Northup; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ruth Wallace and Doris Cullen. Mr. McCullough served proudly in the United States Navy and worked almost his entire career with General Dynamics, Groton, CT, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed watching movies with his grandchildren, was an avid golfer and pool player, and he referred to himself as a “Pier Boy”. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Tuesday in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Road, Narragansett. Burial will be private in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery.
