John David Keane

We are sad to announce the passing of John D. Keane of Charlestown, RI. He died at age 72 on August 8, 2022, surrounded by his family. John was born in Danbury, CT on April 13,1950 to John J. and Anne Mamis Keane. He graduated from Western Connecticut University. Upon graduation he was employed at Ethan Allen and then Waterworks in Danbury. John is survived by his wife of fifty years, Jane; their three children David (Andrea), Jeffrey (Melissa), and Beth (Sean); and five grandchildren, Patrick, Lucy, Caleb, Gus and Finn. John was a devoted husband and father. He loved to play golf, cards, read and enjoyed a drink with friends and family. He will be deeply missed by friends, family and all that knew him. A celebration of John’s life will be held at his home. The family appreciates your love and support during this difficult time.
