John Jack Greenwell

John"Jack"Greenwell, 88, of Tower Hill Rd., died Saturday at home. He was the beloved husband of Justine (Paasche) Greenwell. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John and Ethel (Dunn) Greenwell. Mr. Greenwell was a Lt. Cdr. and a US Navy Air Pilot during WW II and was awarded the Navy Cross. He enjoyed golf, but most of all spending time with his family. Besides his wife he leaves his loving daughters, Sandra Whitehouse and her husband Patrick of South Burlington, VT and Jacquelyn Montemarano and her husband Vincent of Charlestown; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in St. Peter’s By-the-Sea Episcopal Church, 72 Central St., Narragansett. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
