John T. Flanagan

John T. Flanagan 63 of Wakefield, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, June 8, 2018. He was the beloved husband for 45 years to Lucie A. (Vegiard) Flanagan. Born in Lackawanna, NY, he was the son of the late John "Jack" Flanagan and Julie (Dixon) Flanagan. John was a commercial fisherman out of Point Judith. His livelihood of fishing was his passion but when he was not fishing he enjoyed golfing, shooting sporting clays, traveling and spending time with his family. He was also an avid Patriots fan. He is survived by his beloved daughter Jamie R. Cipolla and her husband Peter V. Cipolla III and loving granddaughter Jennifer G. Cipolla. He was brother to the late Julie Ann Morris. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 10-11am followed by a funeral service at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, RI, 02879.
