John D. Feeley, 87, of Narragansett, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018. He was the husband of the late Christine (Souza) Feeley. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late John J. and Anita (Bizier) Feeley. John served honorably in US Navy during the Korean War. He was a Torpedoman on the USS Grampus. John was a police officer for the Pawtucket Police Department for 25 years retiring as detective. He served three attorney Generals; Violet, ONeil, and Pine. He also worked for the Bureau of Criminal Identification. In his spare time he enjoyed visiting Port Charlotte, FL, woodworking, going to Sand Hill Cove Beach, and seeing his grandchildren. He is survived by his children Linda Redmond and her husband Timothy, Michael Feeley, and Barbara DiClemente and her husband Warren; grandchildren Nicole LoBello and her husband Jon, Michael Feeley and his wife Lauren, Neil Redmond and his wife Gianna, Kevin Redmond, Ashley DiClemente, Lauren Feeley, and Christopher DiClemente; great grandchildren Carter, Cameron, Audrey LoBello, and Michael Feeley; siblings Marilyn Whitelaw, Richard Feeley, Janice Foley, James Feeley, and Thomas Feeley. He was predeceased by his siblings Edward Feeley and Joan Dailey. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 10am - 12pm with a service at 11:30 am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. Burial with military honors will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
