Joanne Marie O'Donnell

Joanne “Jody” (DiSarro) O’Donnell 63, of South Kingstown, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Scott O’Donnell for 30 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Eugene DiSarro Sr. and the late Roberta “Robbi” (Lunardelli) DiSarro.

Jody was known for her love of the ocean, spending most of her time at her happy place, Galilee Beach Club. She loved to entertain and cherished her many friends. Jody also loved God and depended on Him for her strength. She often shared that closeness of spirit with her family, and looked forward to reuniting with Jesus in heaven.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Ian O’Donnell, as well as her siblings, Jamie (DiSarro) Atwal, Justine (DiSarro) Caccia, and Eugene DiSarro Jr.

Funeral services will be private. Donations in Joanne's memory can be made to St Jude’s Children's Hospital or HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
