March 22, 1944 — January 14, 2022

Jeremiah Joseph Lynch Jr., 77, of Narragansett, passed away Friday, January 14th . He was born in Providence to the late Jeremiah Sr. and Eileen (Mahoney) Lynch. Jeremiah was the beloved husband of Jacqueline (Keaney) for 56 years. Jerry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Jerry graduated from the University of Rhode Island and then had a long career as a purchasing executive in the steel industry. He especially loved the simple things and beauty of nature such as looking out at the water, or the flowers in the backyard garden. Jerry had also been an avid Providence Friar basketball fan since he was a child living a short walk away from the Providence College Campus. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons; Chris of Reno, Nevada and Peter of Newark, Delaware, grandchildren; Patrick and Meghan Lynch, and his sister; Lenore Backman of Providence. A Mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 20th, at 11 am in St. Mary Star of the Sea, 864 Point Judith Rd, Narragansett. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 20th from 9-10:30 am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home. 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Masks will be required for those attending mass.
