Jennie M. Luciano

Jennie M. Luciano, 97, of Peace Dale, died Sunday. She was the wife of the late Joseph Luciano. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late Tarquino and Ersillia (DeSista) Signorelli. Mrs. Luciano worked in the Peace Dale Mill before raising her family and later worked in the South Kingstown High School cafeteria. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the South Kingstown Senior Center and loved to cook. She leaves her children, Libby Hogberg of Cranston, Joseph Luciano III of Wakefield and Linda Davis of Alton, NH; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was mother of the late Joseph F. Luciano II; grandmother of the late Tina Luciano; great grandmother of the late Allyson Gibree; sister of her late twin Christine Palmisano, Mollie Costanza and Ida Barrington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
