Jeffrey R. Johnson, "Brave Bear" 44, passed away Thursday December 13th. Born in Providence, he was a son of Betty (Fayerweather) Johnson of Warwick and the late Ronald Johnson. He was a member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe. Jeffreys two passions in life were following the Chicago Bears and the University of Michigan football team. He was a very special and caring person who will be remembered for his great sense of humor, being a great uncle, and a loving and devoted son. He took great pride and joy participating in the lives of his nieces and nephews. Besides his mother he is survived by two sisters, Jill Rial of North Kingstown and Jennifer Johnson-Nuttall of South Kingstown; and seven nieces and nephews, Liam, Noah, Sabrina, Emma, Beau, Jack, and Kaya. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Saturday, December 22nd from 3-6 pm, with a service of remembrance beginning at 5:30 pm.
