Jeffery Alan Hall, 81, of Wakefield, passed away on Friday, October 23rd, 2026, at Rhode Island Hospital. Jeffery shared 44 years with his former wife, of whom he loved, the late Linda (Goodwin) Hall.

Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on March 23, 1945, he was the son of William Hall and Anita (Marceau) Hall and the brother of Daniel Hall.

Jeffery earned his undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Rhode Island, a place that remained an important part of his life through the friendships he cherished. He loved spending time with his URI gang, enjoying the companionship and enduring connections that made those get-togethers special. He also served 48 years as a Big E Trustee, a longstanding commitment in his life.

Jeffery found happiness in life's simple pleasures: walks with his Wednesday birdwatching group, snorkeling in his beloved Indian Lake, and his daily serving of ice cream. These familiar pastimes, together with the company of friends and loved ones, were among the things he treasured most. Friendly and welcoming, Jeffery brought warmth to those around him and deeply valued the connections he made throughout his life.

Above all, Jeffery loved his family. Monthly visits to New Jersey to spend time with his daughter Allison, her husband Timothy, and his grandchildren, held a special place in his heart. He delighted in cheering on his grandson, Clayton, at his baseball games and watching his granddaughter, Rain, at her horse shows, drama performances, and orchestra recitals. He was thrilled to welcome his great-nephew, Ryker, into the family 14 months ago. He also cherished time spent with his brother and sister-in-law. Being present for these moments and sharing in the lives of those he loved meant so much to him.

Whether gathering with family or enjoying time with old friends, Jeffery treasured being together, and it is in those shared moments that his memory will live on.

He is survived by his daughter, Allison (Hall) Westerside, and her husband, Timothy Edward Westerside; his two grandchildren, Rain Elise Westerside (16), and Clayton Hall Westerside (14) of Marlton, New Jersey; his daughter's mother-in-law, Suzanne Donahue; his brother, Daniel Hall, and his wife, Kathleen (Kelly) Hall, of Lincoln, Rhode Island; his niece, Dani N. (Hall) Bellamy, and her husband, Christopher Bellamy, of Warwick, Rhode Island; and their son, Ryker Daniel Bellamy.

A private service will be held in Jeffery's honor.
