Jeannine E. Stedman

Jeannine E. Stedman, 82, of Wakefield, passed away Friday. She was the beloved wife of William L. Stedman for 64 years. Born in Ransomville, NY, she was a daughter of the late Elwood and Isabelle (Hillman) Langdon. Mrs. Stedman was a Registered Nurse who worked for Dr. Bandola for many years. She enjoyed the time she spent with her family. Besides her husband, she is survived by five children, William L. Stedman, Jr. and his wife Amy of Charlestown, Jeffrey Stedman of Perryville, Lori Calcagni and her husband Albert of Hopkinton, Timothy Stedman and his wife Diann of Gainesville, Virginia, and Matthew Stedman and his wife Jeanne of Montauk, New York; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was the sister of the late Bernice McCollum. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Tuesday, 10- 11 am, followed by a funeral service at 11 am. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
