Jeannette Adrienne Jarret, 89, of Narragansett and formerly of Woonsocket, died Tuesday. She was the wife of the late Aram P. Jarret. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Adrienne (Guerin) Fontaine. Mrs. Jarret was a graduate of the Academy of the Assumption in Wellesley Hills, MA and attended Stoneleigh College in Rye Beach, NH. She was a member of Pax Christi and a past member of the St. Thomas More parish council, peace and justice committee, Altar Rosary Society, Friendly Visitors and she was a driver and coordinator for F.I.S.H. Her peacefulness, gentleness and caring nature will be greatly missed by those who knew her. She is survived by three daughters, Sandra L. Thomas and Johanna L. Deslauriers of Woonsocket, and Alexa Nagacitta Jarret Haberle of Cape Neddick, ME; four sons, Aram P. Jarret, Jr. of North Smithfield, Anthony L. Jarret of Narragansett, Michael R. Jarret of Charlestown, and Fr. Peter A. Jarret, C.S.C. of Notre Dame, IN; twenty grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren; sister of Yolande Casey, Adrienne Lamoureux and the late Raymond J. Fontaine Jr. The funeral will be Saturday 8:45 AM from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 PM.
