Jean (Tucker) Hange, 74, of Glenwood Circle, Wakefield, died Monday. She was the beloved wife of Howard N. “Hank” Hange. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna (Fisher) Tucker. Jean was the owner of Jean’s Day Care for thirty years before retiring. She was a long time member and Sunday School Teacher of the First Baptist Church of Narragansett and head of the evangelism committee. She traveled with church members to participate in an English camp in Germany, where she was a cook. She enjoyed cooking and helping others and was a volunteer at Welcome House. She was the mother of Evon McNulty of Ormond Beach, FL, Sandra Dayon of Wakefield, George Caswell of Hope Valley and Stephen Caswell of Wakefield; step mother of, Donna Spalding of Landsdale, PA, Kimberly Lesky of Chester Heights, PA, Sandra Baillie, Tammy Baillie and David Hange of PA; sister of Harry Tucker of Kingston and Kathy Dame of North Stonington; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in the First Baptist Church of Narragansett, 305 Kingstown Rd., Narragansett. Burial will be in the RI Veteran Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
