Janice M. Sunderland

Janice M. Sunderland, 93, of Narragansett passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 22, 2020. She was the wife of 53 years to the late Richard J. Sunderland. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Adeline (DeGruttola) Marchetti. Mrs. Sunderland lived in Rhode Island for 26 years. She worked as a realtor for Century 21 in Hartford, Connecticut and Ann O’Brien Realty in Narragansett, Rhode Island. She was a member of the Harbour Island Garden Group and former member of the South County Women’s Club of Rhode Island. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and she loved the sand and the sea. She is survived by her loving son, David L. Sunderland and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A private burial will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford, Connecticut.
