Janice A. Dragon

Janice A. Dragon of South Kingstown, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at Dana Faber Cancer Center, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA. She was the wife of Donald A. Dragon for fifty five years. Born in Gardner, MA, she was the daughter of the late Weyman and Doris (Taggett) Greenleaf. Mrs. Dragon worked at MIT Lincoln Labs for several years. She worked as an aide for the Narragansett Elementary School with special needs students and then as a fiscal clerk for the Narragansett School System until retirement. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a volunteer for Seniors Helping Others. Besides her husband she leaves a son, Donald Dragon Jr. of Narragansett; daughters, Lynne Dragon and Laurie Dragon both of Allen, TX; a brother William Greenleaf of NE and grandchildren, Danielle, Derek and Deanna Dragon, David and Sydney Lessly. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM in the Wakefield Baptist Church, 236 Main St., Wakefield. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
