Janice Browning

Janice Browning, 77, formerly of Narragansett, passed away Saturday. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Philip and Lillian (Ledberg) ODonnell. Mrs. Browning was a commercial fisherman and was one of the first females to hold a Captains license. She is survived by a son and his wife, Michael and Kerry Browning of Ledyard, CT; three grandchildren, Hunter Browning and his wife Emma, Noah Browning, and Morgan Browning; and a sister, Elayne Mossman of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Claire Cece. Funeral services will be private.
