Janice M. Anderson

Janice Anderson, 78, of South Kingstown passed away on January 14, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Richard (Dick) Anderson. Born in Providence, RI she was the daughter of William Branigan and Marie (Rock) Branigan; sister of William Branigan of New Mexico and Michael Branigan of RI. Besides her husband Richard, Janice leaves behind her daughter Christine (John) Horwell, daughter Donna (Curt) Dittrich, and son Richard (Lisa) Anderson of Lawton Oklahoma and her cherished grandchildren Ryan, Eric, Madie and Meredith along with 5 great-grandchildren.

Janice met the love of her life Richard in 1964, marrying in 1965 and welcomed their children in what she always called her dollhouse. After her children left home Janice and Dick moved to Florida for the winters where they spent an amazing 20 years.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, RI, with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
