Janet Gagnon-Rowell

Janet Gagnon-Rowell, of Wakefield, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013. Born in Central Falls, RI, she was the daughter of the late Alfred H. and Eva (Racine) Gagnon. Janet was a clerical assistant for Verizon for several years. She was a lifelong volunteer for several organizations. She was the mother of Joan M. Whitehead of Green Cove Springs, FL and the late Peter A. Favali; grandmother of Jennifer M. Jordan of Wakefield, James Jordan Jr. of Green Cove Springs, FL and Melissa F. Favali of Wakefield; sister of Lorraine M. Vaudreuil and the late J. Bernard Gagnon and Irene M. Correia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10:00 AM in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. St. Mary Abbey, 300 Arnold St., Wrentham, MA 02093.
