Jane S. Prince

Jane S. Prince (Slade), 93, of West Kingston, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017. She was the wife of the late Mack J. Prince. Born in East Providence, a daughter of the late Benjamin H. and Bessie A. (Allen) Slade. Mrs. Prince was a medical technologist for Rhode Island Hospital retiring in 1954. She was a member of the Skidmore Womens Club, Kingston Hill Gardeners, Kingston Book Club and the Every Tuesday Club; enjoyed playing bridge, spending time with her family and enjoyed classical music. She is survived by her children, William S. Prince and his wife Stephanie of Remington, VA and Mary-Anne Turco and her husband Anthony of Saunderstown; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Prince of Hope Valley; five grandchildren, Joshua and Emily Prince, Rachel Messier, Pamela Prince and Amy Prince and two great-grandchildren, Russell S. Messier and Olivia Jane Messier. She was the mother of the late Russell Prince and sister of the late Deborah Slade. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017, at 11 am in St. Augustine Church, 15 Lower College Rd., Kingston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Thursday, December 14, 2017, 4-7 pm in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
