James V. Webster,90, of Narragansett passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014. He was the husband of the late Frances D. “Tess” (Woolley) Webster. Born in Fitchburg, MA, a son of the late Mervin C. and May (Bowler) Webster. Mr. Webster was a salesman for Costello Bros. for many years before retiring and a WWII Army Veteran. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his son, Bradley Webster of Wakefield; daughters, Sharon Webster and her husband Richard Weiss of Narragansett and Shelley Gama and her husband Robert of Sebastian, FL; grandchildren, Heather Webster, Julie Donnelly and her husband Kevin and Nicholas Gama and great granddaughter Tess Virginia Daly. He was the father of the late Bruce Webster and brother of the late Mae, Delbert and Mervin Webster. A Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at 10 am in St. Peter’s by the Sea Episcopal Church, 72 Central St., Narragansett. Burial with military honors will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
