James K. Stram

James K. Stram, 57 of Wakefield, died Wednesday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband, soul mate and best friend of Cindy (Bistline) Stram for 30 years. Born in Columbia, PA, he was a son of the late George and Doris (Linderbeck) Stram. Mr. Stram received a BS degree in Industrial Technology from Roger Williams University and was a mechanical engineer for Chase Machine. He served in the US Navy from 1973-1978. Besides his wife he is survived by, a son, Timothy Stram of Wakefield; a daughter Jennifer Scott of Central Falls, two granddaughters, Angelita Scott and Anja Scott, both of Wakefield; and he was the brother of Susan Peloso, Dorothy Schlosser, Christine Tucker, George, Karl, John and Joseph Stram. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Friday 5-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday at the Peace Dale Congregational Church, 261 Columbia Street, Peace Dale. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the educational fund for Angelita and Anja Scott, c/o any Washington Trust Company Branch.
