James Andrew Russo

James A. Russo, 57, of Charlestown, passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. He was the husband of Dawn (Seppanen) Russo for 32 years. He was the son of the late Henry and Judith (Rose) Russo.

James worked as a heavy equipment operator for International Paving Corp. He was a member of the Local IOUE 57.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by his son, Joshua Russo (wife Victoria) and his daughter, Noel Gelsomino (husband Joseph). His granddaughter, Charlotte Russo; his brothers, Peter William (wife Patricia) and Mark Henry (wife Amanda); his sister, Joy Caswell; his uncle, William B. Rose (wife Joy (Gavitt) Rose).

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow at New Fernwood Cemetery, 3120 Kingstown Rd, Kingston.
