James L. Northup

James L Northup,72, of Palmetto Fla. and Wakefield RI, passed away Wednesday, September 6th, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Evelyn R. Northup, who were married for 52 years. He was the son of the late Henry B. Northup, Sr and Grace (White) Northup. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his sister, Margaret Imondi and brother in law Fred Imondi of Palm Bay, Fla., son James L. Northup, of Frankfurt Maine, and son Timothy T. Northup and his wife Stephanie of West Kingston, RI. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Simone and brother Henry B. Northup, Jr. He will be forever missed by his grandchildren, Angelica Brissette and her husband Jordan, of Wrentham, Mass, Alexandria Northup of Frankfurt, Maine and Dylan and Kyra Northup of West Kingston, RI. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Jim served as service manager for Fred W. Smith in Wakefield, RI for 43 years. His passion and love for cars led him to the great success he was. Funeral services are kindly omitted. A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Tim and Stephanie Northup, 1860B So. County Trail, West Kingston, RI on Sunday, September 17th from Noon to 5:00, where refreshments will be served. Please feel free to bring along a story of Jim and/or memory to share.
