James Johnson

James M. Johnson, 85, of Wakefield, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at South County Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy E. (Murray) Johnson for fifty eight years. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Manley) Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He worked in finance throughout his career for over forty years before retiring. He was an avid stamp collector. Besides his wife he leaves his children, Carol Johnson, James Johnson, Paul Johnson and his wife Danielle and Christine Johnson and her husband Bernie; his grandchildren, Lily and Ryan and his beloved grand dogs Quincy and Riley. Funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to Make A Wish.
