James J. Hey
September 21, 1950 — January 17, 2018
James J. Hey, 67, of South Kingstown, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late John Ashton and Elizabeth Grace (Maddren) Hey. Mr. Hey was a veteran of the United States Army. He had a love for cars. He is survived by his daughter Amanda Anne-Law Hey of Coventry, grandson Aiden Phoenix Garzarelli, brothers Daniel Hey of Narragansett, William Hey of West Greenwich, and David Hey of Narragansett, sister Katherine Doyle of Charlestown. He was the brother of the late Margaret Dawson. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 12-1 pm followed by a prayer service at 1:00pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale.
