James Joseph Brady, Jr.

James J. Brady, Jr., 78, of Wakefield, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Cushman) Brady for 52 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late James J. Brady, Sr. and Frances (Evans) Brady. Dr. Brady was a dentist for many years before retiring; a Vietnam War Navy Veteran; a member of the Rhode Island Dental Association and the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. Besides his wife he is survived by three children, Elise Brady and her husband Colin Moe of South Carolina, Richard Brady and his wife Jennifer of Narragansett and Heather Allen and her husband Roger of Georgia; two sisters, Margaret Churchville of Narragansett and Frances Caban in Massachusetts; a brother, Patrick Brady of Narragansett and seven grandchildren. He was the father of the late James J. Brady, III and brother of the late John Brady. His funeral services will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
