Jacquelyn Anderson

Jacquelyn Lee Anderson, 76, of Peace Dale, RI passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on Monday July 31st, 2023. She was the beloved wife, companion, and partner-in-crime of 40 years of the late Daniel Rogers Anderson. Born in Westwood, NJ, Jackie was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Bradell and Harold Harris, and sister of the late Melissa Dominski

Jackie lived in Bergen County, NJ during her younger years, graduating from Westwood High School. Her family enjoyed holidays at their Prudence Island, RI summer cottage, and Jackie loved The Ocean State so much that she chose to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from URI, and eventually planted roots in Peacedale to grow her family.

During her lifelong career as a marine biologist with NOAA, Jackie forged lifelong friendships, made impactful contributions to the field, traveled the ocean, and shared treasured memories with her beloved amigos. Jackie was an incredibly skilled scientist, calligrapher, globetrotter, guitar & cello player, quilter, reader, and baker who could always teach you something new after just a few minutes speaking with her.

Some of her favorite joys were traveling to Canada & Ireland, crossword puzzles & word searches, shooting pool, White Russians, trivial pursuit, watching golf, and making her grand-children feel like they are the most special people in this universe.

Jackie’s legacy lives on through her two sons: Frank A. Frisella and Michael H. Frisella, and her 6 grandchildren, who she loved more than anything: Ryan, Jordan, Lucas, Mikayla, Dylan, and Katherine Frisella

A private ceremony will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, we ask donations to be made to the Johnny Cake Center or your local pet shelter.
